🤠 Norman and the Smell of Adventure by Ryan T. Higgins - Adventure is calling to a young porcupine named Norman but when his truest friend Mildred (a tree) doesn`t want to accompany him, he strikes out on his own and learns valuable lessons about himself and friendship. Adorable.

🤓 Millie Fleur Saves the Night by Christy Mandin - Return to the world of Millie Fleur, where she shows her community all the wonderful animals and plants that thrive at night. An incredibly sweet story about not being afraid of the dark and embracing the odd and unusual.

🌵 The Ballad of Cactus Joe by Lily Murray and Clive McFarland - This is a story about a saguaro cactus who has lived alone his whole life until one little bird changes everything. A little bit cowboy poetry, a little bit natural history and a whole lot of cute, this brightly illustrated book recently won the Reading the West Award in the picture book category.
