When I first picked up The Source of All Things, it was merely to see what it was about. I began reading from a page in the middle, and continued reading through another twenty pages until I realized I would buy, and read the whole thing. Two days later I was finished with the book.

Ross has an incredibly hopeful voice in spite of her subject; the sharing of an experience as painful and personal as sexual abuse. It is difficult to not be awe-inspired by her unwavering strength. Here is a journey from the eyes of a child confused and betrayed, through the pain and anger of a teenage girl, to the triumph and healing of an adventurous, bright-spirited mother. For anyone whose life has been affected at the hands of abuse, this book is an encouraging must-read.
